I rode the Trek from home to meet Ken. He wanted to ride out Verdae so I rode toward the Swamp Rabbit Café so I could meet him. The wind slowed me down enough that I turned back at the Commons. There was a great blue heron at the creek at Cleveland Park. I met Ken and we headed toward Verdae then followed Verdae to Woodruff Road and returned on the backstreet or alley behind all the businesses. We crossed Verdae at Embassy Suites and rode to Millennium and turned down the hill. We took the roundabout to Innovation Way. We rode it out and back then headed back to the trail at Verdae. I stopped at Cohesive Coffee at Old Airport Road while Ken finished his ride. After downing my Café au lait, I finished my ride back to Hillside and rode home.
